Firearms Transfer Policy
Internet Transfer Policy Updated 06-07-2022
Brockfeld’s does internet transfers on firearms. There is a charge of $40 per background check on the first firearm and $15 per each additional firearm on the same background check. We do not offer discounts for multiple firearms transferred on multiple background checks.
All firearms received for transfer must be picked up within 10 working days unless other arrangements have been made. Any firearm not picked up within 10 working days will be subject to a $5.00 per day storage fee. Any firearm not picked up within 60 days will be sold for the cost of transfer and storage fees.
Many internet vendors already have a copy of our license. If your seller does not have a copy of our FFL you will need to get a valid email address for us to send a copy of our license to. If your seller is a dealer, he needs to include a copy of his FFL with the shipment.
Brockfeld’s does receive firearms from non dealers as long as it is legal in seller’s state and seller provides a photocopy of his state issued ID showing his current address. If seller refuses to provide a copy of his ID, we will not receive the firearm. If the ID does not show seller's current address we will not receive the firearm. A P.O. Box is not a current address. “Gunbroker verified information” is not valid identification.
All buyers must fill out 4473 and pass an FBI background check. Anyone failing the background check will have his firearm returned to the buyer. NO EXCEPTIONS! Anyone failing an FBI background check cannot have another person transfer the firearm for them. This is called a straw purchase and it is illegal.
If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us prior to purchasing the firearm.
